Operation Backpack
A few of the things that we are asking for are: packs of loose leaf notebook paper, Pencils, pens, 3 ring binders, color pencils, markers, dry erase pens, hand sanitizer, bookbags, crayons, glue, light snacks, household items, toiletries, bath tissues, and other basic School supplies.

About the event
We know that this year has been a very challenging year with the covid 19, however the Rainbow Support Group SC is excited to announce we are still doing our annual Operation Backpack.
Operation Backpack is when we collect backpacks and school supplies from our LGBTQ+ community, fill the backpacks and hand them out to families of the upstate that are in need.
From our understanding schools are going to be half in person learning and half virtual learning.
Not only are we planning on filling bookbags with school supplies we are also wanting to put together a basic supply bag for families as well.If you would like to donate a lightly used or new bookbag or any school supplies please reach out to thersgsc@gmail.com, call, text or message 864-908-9364.
